Water Treatment on Wheels!

What do you call a trailer that houses a Kinetico TQ 176 commercial reverse osmosis drinking water system? That provides crystal clear, great tasting purified drinking water from any potable water source? That gets its power from the sun by way of its solar panel? At Flag City Water Systems, we call it our Blue Green Machine, and we wheel it around to community events as our way of saying “Thank You!” to the communities that we have the pleasure to serve. The communities that have supported us for over 30 years, as we have sought to provide to these communities the best in water treatment technology.

Check it out – our Blue Green Machine – at the following events!

  • 9/7/14 Hancock Horizontal Hundred
  • 9/27/14 Grand Lake Marathon (Celina)
  • 10/7/14 YMCA Marathon – Red, White & Blue

Join us for the fun and experience the great tasting difference that a Kinetico drinking water system can make! We’ll provide the water. It’s our way of saying “Thanks!” for all of these years. See you there!

Statement Regarding the Recent Toledo Water Advisory

During the weekend of August 1, 2014 to August 4, 2014, the city of Toledo issued a Water Advisory due to levels of microcystin in the city water supply. While the advisory is over, the effects linger as many residents are now cautious of drinking their municipal water. They may be unsure of the effectiveness of the city’s treatment, of the quality of the resultant water, and, longer-term, if and how they should treat their city water themselves before consuming it. Some trust has been lost.

There is reason for this concern.

Microcystin is one of about eighty types of cyanotoxins, and in the water treatment industry, there is a knowledge gap regarding these toxins. There have been no long-term pilot tests or other full-scale tests that demonstrate which treatment method gets rid of these toxins. Further, it may take ten years to develop those tests, that knowledge.

But neither are we totally devoid of thought and knowledge. The infrastructure that delivers municipal water to households is aged, and the faults of this delivery system are known. It may introduce contaminants. Therefore, there are various multi-barrier approaches to improving the quality of water that is presented by a municipal source, and at Flag City Water Systems, we are aware of this and we offer the best in available technology to purify your water now. We can help. Call today for a free consultation and quote.

Great tasting water is now as close as your kitchen tap, and so is the peace of mind that you're providing your family with the best quality water possible.

Commercial & Industrial Systems

We provide a wide variety of water treatment equipment to businesses and companies. Since we began in 1979, we have grown into one of the largest and most respected water treatment companies in northwest Ohio.

We currently service more than 10,000 customers and are an authorized Kinetico representative.

Pond Management

For most city residents, drinking water is something we take for granted. In many areas, people face real challenges in finding and maintaining a supply of sage water.

When a municipal water supply doesn't exist, or when water rate surcharges often drive up the cost of services, natural water sources pose the only alternative.
