Water Systems, the leading local provider of residential and
commercial water treatment systems, is looking for a Residential
Sales Representative.
This position is
responsible for developing new customers for direct residential
sales and rentals of household water softeners, reverse osmosis
systems, and whole house water filtration. This position requires
candidates to run self-generated household appointments and
company-generated leads, participate in home shows and water
clinics, provide written feedback, follow ethical procedures
related to in-home sales presentations, and provide a daily
schedule of self-generated lead activity to the sales manager.
Our target is homeowners
and much of your time will be spent giving in-home presentations. You will be required to work evenings and Saturdays. You
must have reliable transportation, proof of insurance and a
good driving record. New Sales Representatives will participate
in a comprehensive, factory-authorized training program, which
if followed has been proven successful.
Minimum requirements:
-Prior
outside sales experience with a successful record of closing
– documented history of sales accomplishments with a minimum
of 2-4 years experience.
- Must be a self-starter with initiative and intuition –
must be able to produce self-generated sales each month through
prospecting and cold calling.
- Demonstrated selling skills, working product knowledge, ability
to manage multiple priorities, and excellent small group presentation
skills.
- Ability to work early evenings and Saturdays, ability to work
flexible hours and travel extensively within the trade area,
basic computer skills, strong initiative and time management
skills, timely submission of reports and correspondence.
- Dependable vehicle and professional attire required.
- Sales Representatives will receive cell phone and an industry
competitive no cap commission, salary, expenses, and a car allowance.
In addition, ample technical support is provided along with
continuous training. Compensation is based upon the ability
to succeed.
